We are a growing group of passionate pet people in Miami County with the mission to REDUCE the rate of euthanized adoptable pets in our county shelter and provide resources to STOP the overpopulation of animals. Our fundraising allows us to help subsidize the cost of CANINE spay & neuter, and covers some of the related costs for vetting and medicine with RESCUE efforts from our volunteers for canines that are rehomed from shelters, puppy mills, strays, and owner surrenders.

Spay or Neuter is so very important because it prevents unwanted litters = overpopulation in shelters which results in euthanizined pets.

About Us
Dedicated  Rescue  Efforts  for  Animals  in  Many counties
Our short term goal is SIMPLE: Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Re-home “adoptable pets” residing in our county shelter or in need or rehoming, educate others about fostering, tranporting, sponsoring, and many other ways to help "resuce efforts".   Our long term plan includes a proposal for a new animal facility in Miami county that offer a longer stay for the pets, exercise, socialization, better opportunities to find the right companionship and a forever family. A pet related resource center (for grooming, training, workshops, classes) for the community is also in the plan.

Fundraising efforts are now underway, partnerships are being formed with other animal experts and supporters, low cost spay/neuter/vaccines clinics are being scheduled, community education is being provided about rescue efforts and fostering and other pet related subjects.  Dog Adopt-a-thons are held routinely along with a HUGE community dogfest event every year.  Check our CALENDAR page for all events.

Your help and support is welcomed and appreciated.  We have a volunteer form  available if you would like
to help or a donation form can be used to assist with our fundraising efforts .

Role model organizations currently exist in our neighboring (Montgomery) county and nationwide.  To learn about some of these organizations that provide support for animals and pet related resources for residents in their community, click on any of the links :
